Box 4893, Helena, MT 59604 www.mibonline.org Montana independent Bankers The highlight of the Whitefish event was the attendance of Rebeca Romero Rainey, President and CEO of the ICBA, and her family. Rebeca succeeded Cam Fine who retired in May. Rebeca came to Montana to share her thoughts and ideas as ICBAs new leader with the State Asso- ciations and, in-turn, was able to use the occasion as a mini-vacation for her husband and two daughters. My term as CCBA chairman will end at the turn of the new year. I will turn the ship over to John Witkowski, Executive Director of the NY Com- munity Bankers Association. Putting on the successful Whitefish event proved to be a lot of time and work. As such, I am looking forward to doing nothing more than sitting back and enjoying next year’s CCBA annual event in West Point. Starting in late December, you will find in your mailbox the MIB’s membership renewal notices. We here at the MIB understand that things are tight financially for Montana’s community banks, particularly given the burden placed on your institutions by excessive regulation. That is why we do our best here at the association to ensure that you receive the maximum value for your dues while you also gain exten- sive support in the areas that matter. When you receive your renewal notice, we hope our efforts over the last six years to tighten the asso- ciation’s belt while expanding member services and programs will be foremost in your mind. As always, we encourage you to let us know if you have any ques- tions. Further, if there is anything the association, its board, its officers, or its staff can assist you with, or if there are additional benefits we can add that would be of service to your business, please let us know. Our goal is to help ensure that you have the resources to compete and thrive in today’s challenging business environment. Thank you for your support of MIB and thank you for the service you provide to Montana’s communities. You and your bank are valued.
