9 Winter 2016 The Community Banker G olden Eagle Construction Incor- porated was founded in 1986 and has been serving the Commercial and Residential markets of Helena and the surrounding areas ever since. Most recently, Golden Eagle has expanded their footprint with the ability to serve a broader market area including most of Western Montana. Golden Eagle has significant experience in all aspects of commercial construction including alternative delivery methods such as Design-Build and Construction Manager. The team at Golden Eagle prides them- selves on being a “partner” with their clients during the construction process. Golden Eagle has extensive experience in construction within the banking indus- try. In 2014 Golden Eagle completed the new building for MIB member First Bank of Lincoln. This project was a beautiful timber-framed building that utilized cutting edge energy efficient structurally insulated panel design. On the First Bank of Lincoln project, Golden Eagle was contracted as Construction Manager and worked diligent- ly to utilize many local sub-contractors and suppliers to not only help impact the local community but also to reciprocate business of customers of the bank. Golden Eagle has also completed many other projects in the banking industry including Helena Community Credit Union Kessler Branch (new construction), Valley Bank of Helena Fuller Street Branch (operational remodel), Glacier Bank Data Center (renovation), and Helena Community Credit Union North Montana Branch (new construction). Much like the definition of a community bank, Golden Eagle Construction is a locally owned construction company and is based out of Helena, Montana.
