Bonnie has faithfully done the ‘behind the scenes’ janitorial services for both bank offices for the past 29 years. Bonnie retired in January of 2015 to take care of her cattle and sheep and spend some time with the kids and grandkids. Wannetta has been helping their customers on the front line since 1996. Wannetta began her retirement in April of this year and is looking forward to gardening, visiting family and do some traveling. You may see Wannetta in the Bank every so often filling in for vacations. The celebration continued with the Farmer’s Market in the city park. The Main Street Improvement Team held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Main Street and then served light appetizers in the Park. On July 16, Ruby Valley Na- tional Bank held their 9th annu- al Customer Appreciation Picnic at the Sheridan football field and served over 500 custom- ers and community members. Local customer PigOut Bar- beque provided roasted pork and Wagon Wheel Restaurant provided salad and desserts. The local Close Up kids assisted with clean up and errands, and in turn, Ruby Valley donated to their fund for their Washington, D.C. trip. This popular picnic has become one of the main events that brings the towns of Sheridan and Twin Bridges together (except for the local basketball rivalry – this is a friendlier venue!).
